Early Childhood Teacher Qualifications:

At least 19 years of Age

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
-
60 semester credit hours from an accredited college/university with 6 semester hours in EEC. OR one year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience and 30 semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours of childcare development courses.

At Least 21 years of Age

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

60 semester credit hours from an accredited college/university with 18 semester hours in EEC. OR 2 years of child development experience with 30 semester hours from an accredited college or university with 10 hours in EEC.
