Meet Our Director
My name is Linda Flynn, and I’m your center director at ACP Volo! I have worked in early childhood education for over 30 years in the Island Lake/LakeMoor area. I earned my degree and started teaching three- and four-year-olds, working my way up to director from there. There is nothing more pleasing than being able to help children in their learning journey. I am here to support our children, families, and staff, and I absolutely love working at ACP Volo.
I was born and raised in Island Lake Il, but now reside in LakeMoor with my husband. We have 2 wonderful children and 4 amazing grandchildren. In my free time, I love going to Cubs and Bears games, spend time with friends and family, and scrapbook.
Meet Our Director
My name is Jen Otterson, and I am the Co-Director at A Child’s Place in Volo. I have 20 years of experience working in Early Childhood Education. I have always had a love for children and wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a young girl. Half of my years have been in classrooms, and the other half have been on the administration side.
I am happy to be a part of the Volo community. I believe a collaborative school environment with parent partnerships are the key to creating successful teachers and students! In my spare time, I enjoy vacations with my family and finding time to relax.
