Toddlers
Celebrating the Differences of Each and Every Toddler
Toddlers often start their day with a circle time where they sing songs and share stories, building language skills and social connections. They then move on to sensory play, such as playing with materials like sand or water, which helps them explore different textures and develop fine motor skills. In our art corner, children can experiment with paints and markers, encouraging self-expression and creativity. During structured playtime, toddlers might engage in activities that enhance their problem-solving skills, such as building with blocks or solving simple puzzles.
Our toddler teachers create a fun and loving environment where your child can safely explore their interests and develop a strong sense of self. We fill each day with hands-on activities that spark creativity and support early learning, language development, and social skills.
Building Friendships
You’ll enjoy watching your toddler develop important social skills and learn how to interact with others at our center. Our toddler program focuses on building essential skills like empathy and cooperation, helping children understand and connect with their friends.
Our toddler program:
- Encourages a love for being part of a small group
- Lays the groundwork for positive communication and teamwork
- Helps your child build important skills through play and interaction
- Provides lasting benefits for years to come
We invite you to visit one of our daycare locations to see firsthand how our environment supports your child’s social development and enriches their daily experiences.
Note: the Toddler program is only available at our Antioch, McHenry, and Volo locations.
